Postpartum is one of those things that you just don't get, until you do. You CAN’T know until you’re in it…you can talk to all the moms you know, doom scroll until you’re hyperventilating, or be convinced it’s SO easy and amazing.. but until you have that baby, you can’t possibly know what it’s going to be like. But you don’t have to have all the answers… you just need someone in your corner to walk with you through it. That's where I come in.
Becoming a mom is freaking wild. One moment you’re so excited designing the perfect nursery and the next, you’re completely overwhelmed with “experts” on the internet yelling about the “right” way to feed your baby, telling you horror stories about postpartum, or gushing about how sweet and amazing the newborn days are while simultaneously frolicking in a field of flowers and nursing their baby. All of this is flooding your feed while instead of arming you with knowledge and support to prepare for the rollercoaster of postpartum, your OB is rushing you out the door before you can even hide your underwear in your purse. When I was becoming a mom for the first time, I knew absolutely nothing about birth, breastfeeding, or postpartum, but I was convinced I could just figure it out as I go. I thought I could just wing it because no one ever sat me down to tell me otherwise. But an unexpected NICU stay, raging undiagnosed postpartum anxiety, and a massive identity shift no one prepared me for, left me feeling so lonely, overwhelmed, and wondering if I was ever going to enjoy being a mom.
My approach to your postpartum care is rooted in evidence-based nursing practice minus the sterile hospital environment. You don't need another rushed and impersonal nursing triage phone call, you deserve personalized, in home nursing support wrapped in big sister energy. Everything I teach is designed to make motherhood and postpartum life easier, so you can relax and enjoy it.
I combine my near decade of professional nursing experience with my real-world experience as a mom to bring you in home postpartum support that feels realistic and empowering (without leaving the house). Because let’s be honest, postpartum rarely goes as planned—and that’s okay! My job is to help you navigate the unpredictable with confidence, one panicked "is this normal???" question at a time. 😉
I have spent the last 8+ years working with moms and their babies and the biggest thing it's taught me? That when you care for mom the way we care for children, EVERYONE benefits. There is no healthier generation of children if we aren't making sure MOM is okay postpartum. Beyond my nursing degree, my lactation certification, and impending perinatal mental health certification, the thing I'm most proud of? Is when my postpartum clients tell me, "Being able to text you any question and have you in my corner has been THE most helpful thing for me postpartum."
My personal experience of navigating postpartum struggles gives me an understanding of what it truly takes to thrive as a mom. And that’s what I bring to your care—a blend of empathy, expertise, and a no-BS big sister energy to support you inside the wildest ride of your life as you navigate postpartum and early motherhood.

I know how hard it can be to imagine what you're going to feel like or what life is going to look like once baby is here... But I also know, that no matter what happens, no matter how you feel, you need someone to support you through every up and down postpartum brings.
You may not be able to completely plan out what your postpartum journey will look like, but you can invest in support that gives you the emotional, physical, and holistic postpartum support you SHOULD receive after giving birth, but that our healthcare system doesn't provide. Whether you choose to hire me for prenatal education, a one-time nursing visit, a longterm 4th Trimester support package, or the attend a community workshop, I can guarantee there will be no one more dedicated to your wellbeing postpartum. Us moms have to stick together - and it starts from the very beginning.
